Two holes on the sitter's throat and a tear to the right of the sitter's neck.
Unusually, this canvas is unlined. Under UV light, there is scattered retouching apparent, none distracting to the naked eye and none seeming to address anything much more than cosmetic issues. Craquelure consistent with age, none flaking. Some weakness of execution apparent in the execution of the right hand and the drapery of the blouse.
