Seated half length, wearing a cream dress decorated with lace and pink ribbons, oil on canvas, oval
57 x 46cm.

* The sitter was born and died in Somerset. She was the daughter of Anne Rimes and Thomas Lintern and married Charles Lintern (1840-1902), apparently a kinsman. She bore him eight children.

Condition

Craquelure; stretcher bruises; needs a clean.
