Description
Still life of mixed flowers in a basket on a ledge, also a companion, oil on canvas, oval 64.5cm x 80cm (72cm x 88cm including frame). (a pair).
Condition
The ictures have been fully cleaned and retsored, there is some evidence of overcleaning in places with disturbance to some of the glazing, there is also some evidence of some dirt and discoloured varnish which has been left behind in the cleaning process, with craquelure throughout.

Lawrences Auctioneers present a Winter Fine Art Sale.
The two day auction featuring includes fine art, furniture, decorative arts, jewellery, silver, clocks and watches.
Highlights include a gentleman's 18ct gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date and an automatic 18ct gold Tourbillon by Audemars Piguet in the watch section, alongside a Swiss gold musical snuff box. The jewellery section offers Art Deco, Victorian and Edwardian pieces, including a diamond and black enamel ladybird brooch by Cartier and an Art Deco diamond bracelet.
The fine art and furniture highlights include an early 18th century Irish mahogany bureau bookcase from Creech Grange and a pair of 19th century marble urns on plinths. Amongst the portraits on offer is one by Arthur Ambrose McEvoy and the other paintings include a coastal scene by William Joy. Collectors will also find items like a handpainted 1933 album of Chinese shop signs and a Queen Anne gilt gesso looking glass.
